Dog agility is an exciting canine sport where dogs must correctly and rapidly perform a series of obstacles under the guidance of their handlers on a course consisting of jumps, tunnels, weave poles, dog walks and A-frames. This sport is great fun for participants and spectators alike, and has been receiving increasing exposure in the media, thus adding to its popularity. If you are a dog lover and enjoy watching people having fun with their dogs, you won't want to miss this event!

May 2, 2010 - 49th Annual ChickenQue
The 49th Annual ChickenQue is the only fundraiser for Sonoma County 4-H! There will be games, a petting zoo, club booths, and of course the famous barbecued chicken lunch. All proceeds benefit the youth of Sonoma County, allowing the 4-H Council to put on events like Presentation Day and Fashion Revue, to pay for 4-H Camp, to give scholarships, and allow youth to attend conferences.

September 17, 18, 19, 2010 - Friday through Sunday - SONOMA COUNTY FALL HOME SHOW & REDWOOD EMPIRE TRAIN SHOW
Now in its 16th year, the Sonoma County Fall Home Show consistently has been a must-attend event for homeowners in and around Sonoma County--and this year is no exception! New this year, the Redwood Empire Train Show will be held as part of the show. This addition will cater to everyone who enjoys building, operating, or simply watching scale model railroads. It's the largest show in Sonoma County dedicated to "scale" model trains. From HO to G, the exhibitors will have all the common scales--everything you could want to make your hobby more enjoyable!
Consumers who are familiar with the Sonoma County Fall Home Show will be pleased to view over 250 exhibits that will assist them with all of their home improvement, decorating, remodeling, and gift-giving needs, making it the most unique shopping opportunity in the North Bay and Redwood Empire.
The show continues to partner with the Redwood Empire Food Bank by offering a $2 discount to every attendee who brings a nonperishable food item to the show. As always, two great shows for one price.
