The legendary Helm and Sons Carnival returns to the Sonoma County Fair this year with many whimsical rides with just the right mix of super and spectacular for the thrill-seekers and exciting family and kid rides to appeal to all ages.

Carnival Ride Ticket Prices: NEW LOWER PRICE!

$.50 per ticket, $25 for a pack of 50, and $50 for a pack of 100

Known for innovation, safety and value, Helm and Sons is now offering fifty cent tickets on site instead of $1 tickets or various ticket sheet discounts. Rides will now require between 3 and 10 tickets. This results in about a 20-30% reduction overall in ride prices when you buy tickets.

NEW: WOWXpress upgrade - $15

Also new this year will be the introduction of the WOWXpress upgrade. This fast pass type program is an upgrade to the regular unlimited rides wristband that can be purchased, and allows riders to skip the long lines and use a special designated VIP entrance at every ride. Even if you choose to purchase ride tickets you can still upgrade to the WOWXpress and skip the lines. Helm and Sons will only offer a limited number of WOWXpress wristbands each day to maintain their exclusivity, and they are only $15 more. Only available for purchase at the Carnival lot ticket booths.

Safety is Our #1 Priority

Below is a list of general rules that can help make your day at any carnival, fair, or amusement park even safer.

  • KEEP hands, arms and legs inside ride at all times.
  • USE safety equipment such as a seat belt, shoulder harness or lap bar when provided.
  • STAY in ride until it comes to a complete stop.
  • READ posted rules.
  • OBSERVE age, height and weight restrictions.
  • FOLLOW instructions of ride operator.

In addition...

  • All Rides have Specific Rules and Regulations set forth by the Ride Manufacturer and the government agencies that oversee portable amusement rides. These rules and regulations are set forth for the safety of riders. All riders are responsible for their own actions and are required to obey all rules and operator instructions. Helm and Sons Amusements is not responsible for injury or loss as a result of rider behavior that is not compliant with rules, regulations and instructions.
  • ALL Riders must have the appropriate number of tickets or a wristband, no exceptions. In some cases and adult may be required to ride with a child in order to meet the rules of that ride. ALL riders must pay to ride.
  • Please measure your child prior to purchasing advance sale WOW Coupons or wristbands as NO REFUNDS will be given. If your child is 36 inches or less it is not recommended that you by a wristband. If you purchase a WOW Coupon you will be given the option of trading it in for TEN rides, this may be a better option for parents with small children.
  • Wristband sales will stop at 8:00 PM each night in order to insure that all riders who have purchased a wristband have enough time to enjoy the rides prior to closing.
  • Do NOT RUN in or around the rides.
  • Be courteous and respectful of other guests by not cutting in lines.
  • DO NOT ride if you are injured, sick, pregnant, have health concerns or are too afraid to ride.
  • NEVER stand up while the ride is in motion.
  • Do Not talk to the operator while the ride is in motion.
  • Some rides DO NOT ALLOW SINGLE riders.
  • Some rides do not allow riders with open-toed shoes (sandals).

Please check safety rules before purchasing tickets—no refunds are given
