Competitive ExhibitsOn this page you’ll find everything required to showcase your talent by exhibiting at the Sonoma County Fair. Entering is easy and you will receive a FREE Fair pass when you deliver your entries for judging.

This year all of our entries will be submitted online. Entries have closed for 2018 Fair. Entries will open May 1 for 2019.

2018 Competitive Exhibits - How To Enter

Get your copy of this year's Exhibitor's Guidebook, which lists all of the different departments and competitions that you can enter.

  • 1. Choose Your Department – ALook through this document to choose what competitions you want to enter, once you have decided, you'll need to “enter them”. (Make sure you pay close attention to the department rules and schedules listed at the beginning of each department.)
  • 2. Register – All entry is completed online at: http://sonoma.fairmanager.com/. The first step is to register as an exhibitor. Click "Sign In" at the top right corner. You will need to register as a new exhibitor each year. (Tip: If you are a family or group with multiple exhibitors use the "Quick Group" option.) Each person bringing in entries will need to be registered as an exhibitor.
  • 3. Enter - You will use the easy drop down menus to select divisions and classes. Required entry information is indicated with an asterisk. Click "Add Entry to Cart" when complete. When you've added all entries and are ready to check out click "Continue".
  • 4. Pay Entry Fees – Entry fees will be added to your cart throughout the entry process. You will need to click "Check Out" to pay your entry fees. Entry fees will be paid using a credit or debit card. Livestock exhibitors will need to add the livestock exhibitor fee to their cart during the checkout process.
  • 5. Complete the Entry! – To complete the entering process you must acknowledge you have read and understand the rules contained in the Exhibitor's Guidebook, and agree to abide by them. Please read the acknowledgment carefully. The final step is to type YES. If you do not receive a confirmation email your entry was NOT completed. Please call, email or stop by the entry office if you have questions. (Once you click "submit" you will not be able to make changes in the system. Please call or email the office to request a change. The Fair may transfer entries into correct classes if something is entered incorrectly, but the Fair will not be liable for entries made in error.).
  • 6. Deadlines to Enter – All entry must be completed online. Entries due by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 for most categories. Enter early, the Online Program will shutdown at 11:59 p.m. on the 30th!
  • 7. Bring Your Exhibits to the Fair! – Each competition has a specific receiving day, time and location. (This is when you drop off your items so they can be judged.) Make sure you check the department and divisions to confirm receiving information. Most of the Non-Livestock Departments receive entries Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21 (excluding Quilts, Industrial Arts, Baked Goods, and Gardening).
  • 8. Pick Up Your Items – For most Entries release date is Tuesday, August 14.
