The 2011 Sonoma County Fair entertainment lineup will be bigger than ever, with headline acts in Chris Beck Arena, a daily vaudeville/variety show in the Redwood Theater, Bay Area favorites all day every day on the Park Stage, animal acts and more.

Trace Adkins presented by BC Powder
August 11th in the Chris Beck Arena
Don't miss this chart-topping county music celeb August 11th at 7:30 pm in the Chris Beck Arena. Adkins released his first album, Dreamin’ Out Loud, in 1996. The album went platinum and produced three Top 3 hits for Adkins, including his first #1, “Thinkin’ Thing.” To date, Adkins has had twenty-eight singles land on Billboard's country chart, with 14 breaking into the Top 10. Chart topping hits such as “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” and “You’re Gonna Miss This,” earned Adkins two of his four Grammy nominations.
Huey Lewis and the News
August 9th in the Chris Beck Arena
Huey Lewis and The News performs August 9th in the Chris Beck Arena at 7:30 pm. Huey Lewis and The News has sold more than 20 million albums and was a Grammy winner and Academy Award nominee for “The Power of Love,” a song written for the film, Back to the Future. The group also won a Best Music Video Grammy for "Heart of Rock & Roll" and then a collaborative Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "We Are The World".
A few of Huey Lewis and the News’ top ten singles include "Do You Believe In Love", "Heart And Soul", "I Want A New Drug", "The Heart of Rock & Roll", "If This Is It", "Hip To Be Square", "I Know What I Like", "Doing It All For My Baby" and "Perfect World". This concert marks the band’s first appearance at the Sonoma County Fair since 1982.

David Crowder Band
August 10th in the Chris Beck Arena
David Crowder Band, a popular contemporary Christian worship group from Waco, Texas will perform at the Sonoma County Fair on August 10th in the Chris Beck Arena at 7:30 pm. The GMC Dove winners and previous MSN “Artist of the Year” have released their last album together, so catch them on their last tour! The six-piece band is known for including unconventional instruments and elements into their work.

Sonoma Paradiso Day ~ August 12
All fairgoers are invited to attend a free concert at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on Friday, August 12th at 3 pm. Sonoma Paradiso Foundation presents a good time for young scallywags with the Santa Rosa Symphony when they present The Pirate’s Visit: A Swashbuckling Voyage with emcee Marcy Smothers, baritone Paul Murray and conductor Richard Loheyde. It’s perfect for long-time lovers of classical music as well as children being introduced to this genre of music. A musical “petting zoo” gives children a chance to experience the instruments themselves. Come with your children and enjoy the magic of classical music amidst the Fair’s festivities.
