African Acrobats – Zuma Zuma

If you’ve been watching America’s Got Talent, then you’re already familiar with these amazing acrobats! They combine elements of traditional African acrobatics with modern American dance and music. This lively troop is busy working on creating a 75 minute Las Vegas casino show, so here’s your chance to see them before they become famous!

The African Acrobats will be performing three times everyday at the BackDoor Stage, a 1:30, 3:30, and 7:00 p.m.

Alphabet Soup Puppeteers

Alphabet Soup Puppeteers

The Alphabet Soup Puppeteers combine marionettes and merriment to create enjoyment for the young and young at heart. Their performance piece “Farm Follies – A Day at the Fair” is sure to make you laugh. You can tap your feet to a mariachi band, hiss at the evil Cartomus the cat, or giggle at the antics of Charlie, everybody's favorite little boy.

The Farm Follies Puppet Show can be found at the Barnyard Stage and will be presented three times each day, 12:30, 3:00, and 6:00 p.m.


Budweiser Clydesdales

Budweiser Clydesdales

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales are making a very special appearance July 27th through July 31st at the fairgrounds. You can visit these incredible animals every day in the livestock area near the Turkey Stampede. The Clydesdales will also be participating in several events around the grounds. Make sure to catch them during their scheduled performances after the 7th race at the racetrack (approximately 4:15 pm).

Where to see the Budweiser Clydesdales:

  • July 27th -- The new paddock unveiling between the 5th and 6th race at the racetrack (approximately 3:00-3:30 pm).
  • July 28th – 31st – The racetrack after the 7th race (approximately 4:15 pm)
  • July 28th--31st -- The daily parade at 5:00 pm near the Showcase Café. Be there by 4:45 if you want to march in the parade


Circus Luna starring Aldo Ray

Circus Luna combines all the excitement and entertainment of a circus – gravity-defying balancing acts, crazy contortionists, amazing juggling routines, and captivating displays of magic – and wraps them all up into a fun family show.

Circus Luna will be performing three times daily at 1:00, 3:00, and 6:30 p.m. in the Kids Area.


Couch Potato

Couch Potato

Do you remember the Couch Potato from the 1988 Fair? He even got a write-up in People Magazine, if you can believe that! And now he’s back to do it again! He’s going to practically live at the Fair, eat fair food, and watch TV the whole time. Check him out and see how he’s “evolved” from the 20th century to the 21st.

The River The Couch Potato will be appearing everyday in the E.C. Kraft building.


Great American Petting Zoo

Great American Petting Zoo

America’s only hands-on petting zoo! Come check out these adorable hand-raised animals who love to get petted and fed. The zoo contains a wide variety of animals including llamas, Fallow Deer, Bennett Wallabies, African Pygmy Goats, assorted exotic and domestic goats and sheep, Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs, Bantam Chickens, miniature Sicilian Donkeys, miniature Call Ducks, and baby animals born all year long.

The Great American Petting Zoo will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.


Jack and Jeri

Jack and Jeri

If you’ve seen the movie “Water for Elephants” then you’ve likely seen the husband and wife juggling duo, Jack & Jeri. They juggle every thing from bowling pins to knives to flower pots! They even juggle while riding a unicycle or drawing your portrait! This amazing couple has been juggling together and separately for many years and puts on a very funny, very exciting show that will thrill the entire family.

Jack & Jeri are appearing in the Diamond Jubilee Review, which is showing twice daily during the week at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m, and three times daily on the weekends at 1:30, 3:30, and 7:00 p.m. in the Redwood Theater.


North Coast Draft Horse and Mule Club

Wagon Rides

We are fortunate here at the Fair to be able to enjoy daily wagon rides around the livestock area, drawn by draft horses and mules. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy the fairgrounds, and give your tired feet a rest! Members of the North Coast Draft Horse and Mule Club have been offering these enjoyable rides for many years and each year they’re a big hit with folks of all ages!

The Draft Horse wagon rides will be available everyday between 12:00 and 6:00 p.m.. around the Livestock Area.


Splash Dogs!

Splash Dogs!

What can we say about Splash Dogs? They’re a perennial favorite at the Fair. Who doesn’t like to watch dogs diving into the water, having fun? Founded by Tony Reed after he discovered how much his dog Sierra loved to jump into the water, Splash Dogs has grown into a very popular pet-oriented sport around the country. Pets compete for distance, diving from a dock into a 40 foot pool. Please go to the Splash Dogs website to register your dog to participate. Registration materials will be posted there.

Froggy Splash Dogs shows will be at the Dock, and will run three times everyday, at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. The pool opens at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m.

Your whole family will laugh at Steve and Jack as they compete to win the audience's appreciation. Who can amaze the audience more with their abilities, the ventriloquist or the puppet? Even if the puppet is the crowd favorite, Steve is proud to work with Jack, the world's only juggling and fire-eating rabbit. Fluffy, cute, fearless, and hilarious!

Valentines Performing pigs is a unique, fast-paced act that consists of mini pigs doing tricks and incredible athletic feats on a very large stage. As music plays, the dazzling swiners dance, jump in the air, play catch with the audience, run up teeter totters, slam dunk basketballs, pop balloons, roll barrels and madly roar across the stage on scooters and skateboards! You’ll go HOG WILD!

Valentines Performing Pigs will be appearing in the Diamond Jubilee Review, which is showing twice daily during the week at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m, and three times daily on the weekends at 1:30, 3:30, and 7:00 p.m. in the Redwood Theater. They will also have a separate show in the Kids Area each day at 4:00 p.m.


Wild West Turkey Stampede

Wild West Turkey Stampede

Have you ever seen a turkey run? Pretty funny, huh? Imagine a whole group of turkeys not only running, but racing after a remote-controlled truck filled with turkey treats! Hilarious, to say the least! The twenty minute show features the worlds only racing turkeys and offers plenty of belly laughs, a special appearance by a GIANT of a turkey, contests for kids, and even a stunt mini-monster truck.

The Wild West Turkey Stampede will be running twice daily at 3:30 and 6:00 p.m. on the Turkey Track.
