Every year the Sonoma County Fair is pleased to award scholarships to students currently pursuing studies in agriculture. Funds for these scholarships are raised by tickets sales to the annual Flower Show Preview, a gala event held the Sunday before the opening day of the Fair (July 26, 2009).
