Venture into "The Garden Time Forgot"
Explore an archeological dig site at the Flaming Cliffs of the Gobi Desert and then take a brief tour through our Natural History Museum. From there you'll emerge into a prehistoric paradise of lush plants, waterfalls, a swamp with its own lost island, and stunning murals replete with volcanoes and extinct plant species. Pteranodons will soar overhead and each of our gardens will feature its own resident dinosaur, some as long as 20 ft. As you wind your way toward the end of the adventure, you'll encounter 20th century shrines to the mighty dinosaurs: roadside attractions and peewee golf!
The Sonoma County Fair Flower Show is the largest themed flower show in the U.S. and a stunning showcase of the region's best garden designers, both pro and amateur. The show's Flower Show Preview on Sunday, July 26, also generates funds for the Fair's Flower Show Scholarships.
